Hayden's Birthday

Hayden was sooooo excited for his Birthday party. He has been planning it since June 20th of last year. I finally had told him he wasn't allowed to talk about his birthday until June of this year came. He had a beach party this time and it was pretty fun. The boys decorated bucket hats with fabric markers and each got a pair of sunglasses and a beach ball, all of which I got off of Oriental Trading way cheap. Then they played in the slide pool that Grandma Sandy gave Hayden for his birthday and another little pool I had from last year. When things got a little wild (a.k.a. beach ball dodge ball), we stopped them and did the pinata and cake and ice cream. It really was a fun one.

Willow Park

So, the day after Dad's party we went to Willow Park for Father's Day. It's a fun place. It has a little zoo and about a million cottonwood trees that were all blowing cotton everywhere. It looked like it was snowing all day. It was a fun day anyway. Here are some pics.

Parker was trying to use a couple of swan feathers to fly off of Daddy's shoulders.

Busy Week

Well, I'm just getting started on this whole blogging thing. Toni has finally convinced me that I am way behind the times (nevermind that I do not have a cell phone). So, I thought I would jump in as it has been a very busy couple of weeks and I have lots of pictures to share. This first bunch is of a Birthday party that we (my siblings, mom, and I) threw for my Dad the Saturday before Father's day. Turns out that it is the first birthday party he has ever had that was more than just cake and ice cream with family and usually combined with Father's day. He was completely 100% surprised and it was very gratifying for us to be able to do for him.

I'll get some more pics posted hopefully later today, or maybe tomorrow. But that's that for right now.
